We've won CAMRA's first-Summer Pub of the Year!

We're absolutely thrilled to share some news: CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) has launched a brand-new award, Summer Pub of the Year—and we're honoured to be the inaugural winners!

This award celebrates everything that makes a perfect British summer pint possible. From our beautiful beer garden and its sweeping views over the rolling fields, to our carefully curated selection of cask ales and summery ciders, right down to the riot of colour in our hanging baskets—our pub is a wonderful place to while away a sunny afternoon. To have that experience recognised by CAMRA is an incredible feeling.

We were already over the moon to be finalists for CAMRA's North Devon Pub of the Year this year. But to go one better and be named the first-ever Summer Pub of the Year is simply amazing. With more than 260 pubs across North Devon, this recognition means the world to us.

Most importantly, this achievement belongs to our brilliant little team. A very big shout-out to Nat, Ellen, Pricey (Nat), Liv, Tom, Oliver, Robyn, Helena, Alice, Lucy Loo, and Will—you lovely lot make the magic happen every day. We truly couldn't do it without you.

And to our wonderful friends and customers: thank you. Your support, especially during a recent sad time for us, has been the tonic we needed. Your smiles, stories, and shared pints are what make this place special.

Here's to clinking glasses of crisp cider and perfect pints of cask ale. We can't wait to welcome you!
